Why Our Sealing Lasts Longer:Our Proven 7-Step Process
Our Paver Cleaning & Sealing Steps:
1. Cleaning:
– We pressure wash to get rid of old sand and dirt.
– We clean the pavers with our multi-step process.
2. Re-Sanding the joints:
– We wet sand to fill paver joints to proper height.
– We use ATSM-C-144 sand specifically designed for pavers.
3. Prior to Sealing:
– We check the pavers to make sure sand height is correct.
– We sweep/blow away extra sand and fill in any spots we missed.
4. First Coat of Sealer:
– We apply a heavy flood coat of sealer to saturate the sand/pavers.
– This helps stabilize the joints and help with shifting pavers.
5. Second(Top) Coat of Sealer:
– We add wet on wet application of sealer.
– This coat intensifies the color and solidifies protection.
6. Keeping the Area Safe:
– We mark off driveways so no one drives or walks on them.
– We suggest waiting 48 hours for vehicular traffic and 4-6 hours for walking.
7. Communicate with the customer:
– We’ll tell you the best times to use your driveway.
